Galvanization and surface protection of metals
Galvanization is an electrochemical process of metal protection through electrolysis, which applies a protective layer to the surface of the product that provides reliable anti-corrosion protection and increases wear resistance.
The department for metal surface protection and electroplating covers 2,086 m² and includes modern lines for electroplating, chemical and electrochemical protection, as well as metal plasticization. Processes are organized for serial processing of parts with high quality finishing and long-term corrosion protection.
The plant has a waste water treatment system, in accordance with ecological and industrial standards.
Professional surface preparation before electroplating
The quality of the surface protection directly depends on the preparation of the substrate. In the process, we use a combination of mechanical and chemical preparation methods:
- chemical degreasing of metals;
- electrolytic degreasing;
- ultrasonic degreasing;
- vibration processing and drumming;
- gossiping;
- surface etching.
Proper preparation enables uniform application of the protective layer and maximum protection durability.
Types of surface protection we provide
The following services are available at our facility for surface protection and metal galvanization:
